Prof. Freytag receives SWSA Ten Year Award at the 2019 ISWC conference

Together with Olaf Hartig (now Linköping University, Sweden) und Christian Bizer (now University Mannheim) Prof. J.C. Freytag, Ph.D., received the SWSA Ten Year Award at this year's International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC) 2019 for their ISWC 2009 paper Executing SPARQL Queries over theWeb of Linked Data. This paper was among the first that focuses on evaluating database queries over interlinked data on the Web.
